Corrections, press, data, bugs and billing all land in the same inbox. Put the topic in the subject line and it gets sorted faster.

What to write about

You can also just check us yourself. The math is a public package, teachersbettextbook on PyPI, and every formula it runs is on the formula sheet.

The corrections policy

Written down so there is something to hold us to:

  1. Every page carries a last-reviewed date, and it is the same string as the dateModified in the page's structured data. The two cannot say different things.
  2. A reported error gets reproduced against the published library first, not against our own output. If those two disagree, that is itself the bug.
  3. If the page is wrong it gets fixed and redeployed, and the review date moves to the day the fix went live.
  4. A change to a number or a method gets a dated note on the page. Typos and broken links do not, because a correction notice that fires on every comma teaches you to ignore it.
  5. Nothing gets quietly deleted. If a claim was wrong, the page says so. The sentence does not just vanish.

The full standard is on the editorial policy page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I contact Teacher’s Bet?

Email support@escapementtech.com. Email is the only channel: no phone line, no chatbot. Teacher’s Bet is operated by Escapement Technologies LLC in Syracuse, New York.

How do I report a wrong number?

Send the page, the inputs you used and the answer you expected. Wrong-number reports jump the queue. The math is also public, in the MIT-licensed teachersbettextbook library, so you can reproduce a disputed result yourself.

What is the corrections policy?

A reported error gets reproduced against the published library. If the page is wrong it is fixed and redeployed, and the review date moves to the day the fix shipped. A change to a number or a method gets a dated note on the page; typos and wording fixes do not.

How quickly does Teacher’s Bet reply?

These are expectations rather than a guarantee: a wrong-number report inside two business days, everything else in about a week. There is no auto-responder, so silence means it has not been read yet.

Does Teacher’s Bet give betting advice by email?

No. Never picks, tips or directional advice, by email or anywhere else. Every output is a calculation on inputs you supplied or on a posted market price, with the working shown.
